Cleaning Rod length

I was about to respond to an ad in the EE from a guy looking for a SKS cleaning Rod. I got one, so I was going to message him until I realized he mentioned it was the standard 17in. rod. I looked at mine and sure enough it was not 17 inches but 13 inches. I went and measured the one that was in my Rusky SKS, and it was 17inches.

So where does my 13 inch cleaning rod come from????

Could it be from a Chinese paratrooper model ???

My CZ858 cleaning rod(included) is too short for the barrel. I think the rod is for the restricted, shorter barrel version of the gun. Maybe yours is the same....

The 13" long cleaning rod is for the Chinese Paratrooper.

Yeah, i buy another cleaning kit from Marstar to have 1 more section. Why cz factory dont put an extra section with the long barreled cz
