No, since we do not deal directly with Mepro, but possibly the Mapro dealers could.

Okay, I`ll try and find one myself, now what about the wrench so I can take off the barrel?

Not necessarily, the rifle could be molded differently, I looked at some pics and can't see where or how that rear sight is mounted. And if it can be removed does it expose some area that would be covered by a cap in the non-rear-sighted version.

Sorry, to confuse things. IWI is not really into answering a lot of questions.

This is also what we may be getting:

BUIS and rail

Its highly unlikely they would mold a different rifle housing just to remove a BUIS but you never know as this mount they use for the Mepro is pretty stupid.

Also I just looked at the Meprolight websight and they show 3 different picatinny mounts for the Mepro 21 but IWI has used a stupid non standard mount for some reason.

I think I would rather have the longer Railed version just so I can put a magnifier on after or perhaps BUIS if I find one that will work with the front sight.

I really doubt another BUIS will work with the IWI picatinny mount, look how high up it is.

What do you mean by factory setup?

Ok, hopefully this will help

Option 1. The picture we've all come to know and love.

Exactly... I "thought" that the rifle would look exactly as that picture shows it... With the newer 1 MOA Bulls-eye reticle... AND, I thought that BUIS would be included... They are after all, "Back Up Iron Sights..." For them to be a Back Up Sights, they have to be present...

Cheers

It's the railed version that is all the confusion, that pic you showed is the standard configuration, the railed is the other version being sold.

As another side note, we have a full length rail in development. It will extenede from the twist lock ring to the front sight.

For those planning on ACOGing your Tavor like me (I think I just invented a new word.), the IWI pic rail rests a bit back which is suitable for the short eye relief ACOG...Just a thought since I do lots of trial & error..

If you go with this set-up or other short eye relief glass, can't go wrong with the Picatinny.
