So I've decided to make my 710 at least look cool, even if it really isn't, kinda like putting a NOS sticker on a civic.
Grey synthetic stock, which I'm gonna winter camo in a blatant copy of "project because I can" which can be seen at http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=409251
Now I'm wondering if there's any special prep involved with painting a synthetic stock, or can I just whipe it down with rubbing alcohol or a similair solvent, and spray 'er with some white and black krylon?

thanks

heres 2 that i just finsihed. Yes they are Tikka T3. Krylon paint with a Matt clear coat last a long time..

same paint prep as I mentioned for the barrel and other assorted bits?
what kinda curing times did you allow?
how many coats of clear?

Just follow the instructions on the can of Krylon for cure times.

Anywhere from 2 or more coats of clear will do well.

Here are a couple that I did recently:

Thanks. For the shotgun, I just used some long grass, and sprayed through that.

For the rifle, I found a digital camo pattern online, printed it off, cut out a few of the shapes, and sprayed through the paper with cutouts in it.

You can order digital camo stencils, but my way is cheaper :D
