Can a G17 barrel be cut to make a restricted G19?

I am curious to know if this can be done. It is getting harder to find aftermarket barrels to change G19's from prohib to restricted. Besides I like those polygamist barrels!

I'm pretty sure you could just drop a Glock 17 barrel into a Glock 19. Not sure though. Definitely wouldn't cut it though, that will make it prohib.

No I mean cut it to 105mm making it restricted. Why do we need aftermarket barrels?

Isn't 106mm the limit for restricted? 105mm would make it prohibited.

Handgun barrels can be shortened in Canada legally to 106mm.
