Not sure if this is the right section for this.....
I have a 37mm launcher and they make adaptors for using the 26.5mm flares along with the 12 gage ones, Is there anyone locall selling the 26.5mm ones and/or would they be able to be imported?

26.5mm flares are not cheap to purchase. I don't know if the military surplus one's are allowed to be brought in. I have the hk 26.5mm guns and the russian ones. The flares really "light up" when fired. I use them in marine applications, so there isn't the fear of forest fires...

I can buy them at a local store that makes fireworks.. There 25 bux a bang red and green.. also have chute flares for 45 or 50 bux a bang burn time is like 3 mins ....

And can14 is right I started a fire on my farm with mine useing the 37mm there for marine use.. The chute ones burn out most times before the ground

Would white illuminating parachute rockets be of interest? They are quite old original production (1960s I believe) but the supplier has been searching for a market and wants them gone. They will not be expensive. Several thousand available I believe.

If the price is right, sure. In my experience they aren't the most reliable of flares, lots of duds, even in the ones that come sealed 5 to a plastic box. The absolute worst are the cardboard shelled ones. Best are aluminum casings but even those will have the odd dud. They are great though as you can carry alot of rounds for them and only one gun, and are pretty accurate.

These are aluminum cased, manufactured by Olin, packed six shells to a cardboard box. The one box I have, cartridges are in flawless condition (can't find it right now though). I searched high and low for a gun to fire them to no avail. Any leads on a large quantity of P2A1s would be most appreciated!

Be careful not to buy old ammo. Bought a pack of green flare's from the 70's a while ago and only half of them actually worked. (all fired fine, though)

The white illumination 26.5mm flares are the best of the lot. I bought the guns and flares when they were cheap, cheap. When we tested the white illumination it caught the log we shot at on fire and we had to row ashore with a bucket and put it out!

Here's some pictures of the flares.

I am told these will fit 26.5mm flare guns. I've located a P2A1 and will be bringing it into test these out. I will let the board know when I get pricing from the boss, but they will be fairly cheap. There are about 2,000 available.

Okay. We have 2,000 of these flares available, we're looking at $24.00 per box of six cartridges with discounts in larger quantities. If anyone is interested in taking the entire lot there will be a VERY significant discount available.

As these are explosive they will need to be shipped hazmat, so we recommend doing group orders to one location to save on shipping if possible. It's really not economical to ship a single box but if that's all you want, we'll do it.

Mods if this should now move to the EE kindly let me know.
