Can't fault the price this guy has in it, and it seems to be a pretty effective tool. The other vids he posts show the plate he made to feed .45 brass, that I suspect could be scaled to fit 9mm or about any other case size.

Neat stuff. Princess Auto has assorted slow speed motors, a belt drive or worm gear drive would serve OK if a 4 rpm motor could not be got.

Basic and affordable!

That it a bit like saying an ar-15 lower costs $10 for the block of aluminum and a file.

yeah
how much time did he spend on this? I assume at least 10hours?
drawing up the plans, salvaging the parts, putting everything togheter, running test, fixing stuff
how does casefeed tube to shell plate happens?

neat but cant do, so i pay

Yeah. It depends on how well one can make their hands do what their eyes see.

He says right in the vid, that the price he has really amounted to some luck with finding what he needed, but on average, there is less to this than it seems, as far as the need to own an equipped shop.

A saber saw, a bench, some files, some screwdrivers... Not much more than that. A band saw would make it faster. But not better.

I see one of those made from the bottom of a plastic bucket and some particle board. I have about 3/4 of the stuff I need to make one, and could probably adapt some of my other stuff to work... I'm not an apartment dweller though, either. OK. So I have too much junk. :D

Guys may have made a lower from a block of stock, with a file. This is not put forward as THE way, but rather, as A way.

Guys that can't make stuff are keeping guys that can, in business!

Plus....he not including all the relevant mounting equipment. Still come out way ahead, but not quite as much as depicted in this video

Yeah. If a guy went into this expecting to build it for the under $10 that the poster of the video did, he (or she) obviously does not have the experience to recognize just what is going on there.

On the other hand, some of us have enough junk around....:D

Yep. Still a great idea, I think. Still a way to come out ahead and have some pride in being able to say "I made that!"
