remington model 5 22lr

I have one, accurate little rifle, works flawlessly.

First 100 rounds or so the action wasn't the smoothest but it improved by shooting, cleaning, lubricating. Now it works like a charm.

I would consider them good quality and value for the money.
Made in Serbia, but the guys in Zastava have been making rifles for 150 years (?) and Mauser actions sonce at least the thirties.

It was so god dam acurrate that it bored me after a few months. I loved it so much that I could shoot clay pigeons at 200 meter's. With a 22 LR it's insane! Sadly I sold it to a nice man on the far east cost.

anyone have one of these....are they worth $380?

Mine is very nice, Great shooter, I bought it new from a small shop locally for 299.00 plus taxes.

Is it worth 380,00? Well mine shoots like it's worth 380.00 but the final answer will be is it worth it to you.

wholesale sports has them for $260 with hardwood stock. Pay about 100 more for laminated. I don't have one.

sounds like a pretty good value, though.

Hardwood model is a youth model and is a great buy for it's price.

Epp,s has only the youth model listed.

Mine is the laminate and have heard and read the stock is made by Boyds.

I guess I did well at 299.00.......Wholesales wants 379.00 for the same model:bsFlag:

The Outdoor Store in Vernon, BC has four of the youth models that they are selling for $175 each. They came in late in the season and the owner doesn't want to hold them till spring. 250-558-1523

There is a good article in Rimfire Central about adjusting the trigger. Apparently 2 lb pull with no creep or overtravel is do-able.
