Broker is right: you should try as many as you can. The one that fits your hand best and that you can hit what you aim at with best, is the one to pick. You'll probably be like most of us and start buying others just because they're neat, but start with one that fits.

Just get a glock and a 1911. Everyone needs one of each.
Ranges depend on where you live. If you are in the SE, then the Sheppard range is close. If you live way north, them the Olds range is not bad to get to. If you want indoor facilities, then TSE is the choice.

mmattockx, you are 1/2 an hour ahead of me for using Olds. Comming out of the NE both, Olds and Homestead are a both a bit of a pain.

mags are easy to find so are parts and accessories.
Then go and try everyone elses guns.
If you deceid you dont like it you can sell it in a heart beat.
The more guns you get to shoot the better.
