The folding stock and flash suppressor kills it for export out of the USA...
It is a ZM weapon from the 90's, which Para recycled.
That's where the money isIs para Ord completely withdrawing from Canada?
That looks very bad.. A reputable Canadian Maker moves to US..

I sure hope so! I can't believe you're the only one who's mentioned the TTR on the site so far. From the kids who brought us the LDA and the PXT... looks like an interesting piece of work. If Para ever builds a weapon from scratch I buy one just for the pile of unique ideas they'd pack into it.
This weapons system is incredible. No more buffer tube. Like any good piston AR. Would love to get my hands on one....or a few......
Check out the specs and the demo video.

The original ZM weapon, which Para recycles, has problem with the recoil spring losing temper as the gas key heats up.
It is not a piston system - it is a direct impingment system like regular AR15, with a very long gas key that fits over the gas tube.
It did not take off in the 90's, and I see no reason it will take off in 2010 when HK556 and LWRCI are around.
