look up sharp shooter supply they caiter to the savage aftermarket
Sharp shooter supply is a nightmare to deal with. I bought a model 110 extended magazine off of them and went through hell. Don't bother phoning when they screw up your order either because a woman named Lisa will tell you every lie under the sun. Terrible company in my opinion. I did finally get my product from them though and it is really nice.

. I will admit I am bitter towards the whole sharp shooters supply thing so take anything I say with a grain of salt. I could be the one guy out of a million that had a hard time with SSS. Lisa is actually a really nice person to talk to. It was more the information I was given that was the problem. I would be told something was shipped and to expect it in a week or so then it would not arrive so I would enquire only to be told that fred had not started working on it yet. Repeat. This went on for over half a year. I could not use my rifle during that time so it sucked. Bottom line I would have rather just been told "we are swamped with work and cannot keep up with orders it is going to take a long time" VS being told is was coming/had been shipped/should already be there/I will send it tomorrow type thing. But hey in the end I got the product and I will admit it was worth the wait

I'll start by saying that Fred is one very busy guy. He gets so backed up with orders it ain't even funny, Lisa is the only thing that keeps him in business.
He's a fellow moderator with me at Savage Shooters so I notice that he rarely even gets to the site to check up on his sections.
Savage actually built their accu-trigger from Freds original design. Stole it the way I look at it but thats neither here nor there.
I think Freds trigger is still better than the Savage accu-trigger and now thats he's gotten into after market stocks he's even more backed up.

I have read similar posts about SSS. I just put a $500 order in before I read your post. When I ordered they told me 8 weeks. I figured at the time it may be more. I hope its not half a year like your order. Or this
will be changing to this EDIT: positive thoughts : It will be 8 weeks. LOL!
I was shorted on parts from SSS and still haven't received my full order. Eventhough they say they sent the parts i haven't received it. Although polite it was near impossible to call in or find someone to deal with my order problem. I'd like to order more parts from them but still feel a little bit burned by them. Great parts though.
Yeah Sharp shooter supply would be smart to hire a few more people to keep things going smooth. When I was going through my frustrations with that company I did some searching on the internet and found lots of people had trouble with their orders.
