Bushnell Trophy 1.5 x 6 x44, 30 mm tube , input please!

I have had mine for at least four years. It's on a Lee Enfield No.4 and it works as well as it should, but that is not the one I shoot very often. My favourite thing about it is the reticle. I would not have thought the 30mm tube offered enough advantage to make it worthwhile if I had known finding 30mm rings for it was going to be a bit of a chore.

I bought it from S.I.R. on sale for <$200 and for that price, I like it. Cabelas (Canada) had them on sale recently for, if I recall correctly, about $140, which is even less than I paid then.

correction right now before xmas it's $119.99 I think.. as for the scope it's a very good scope for the money I have been installing them on .50 cal muzzleloaders not seen any come back... for the price & a bush scope I think it's a good option, 1.5-6x44 most other low power scopes are a 32mm obj with this 44mm it's a wider field of view and being in the bush if you needed to take a shot from close range like under 20 yards it's great 1.5x power. open fields just turn it up. Levi it's a good scope for a trophy.

I had one for a while. I was pretty impressed with it, for the money. The only two things I ever disliked about was that it was a fairly heavy scope with a 30mm tube, and the parallax came from the factory at (if I recall correctly) 50 yards. The parallax was fairly easy to fix (you just need to loosen the retainer ring on the objective lens, and then dial in the focus/parallax to what you want, and then re-tighten the ring). I never did get over the heavy/30mm tube thing, and eventually sold it for that reason.

I'd recommend one.

Some or all of the Trophy model scopes are being discontinued. They are being upgraded and will use the Trophy name with some extra numers or letters to designate the new models. Phil.
