Anyone know if I can put a funky looking bolt handle/knob on my Tactical 700 .223? I'm sure the guy from Alberta Tactical will reply to this... hopefully. I ask because the bolt handle and knob are 1 piece, can't simply stick a new knob on it. Likely have to replace the entire bolt, I'm worried it will ruin my 1/2 minute groups, but I really love the tactical sharp shooter look.

Also, if anyone has a picture of their atrs bolt on their 700, that would be sweet.

Your Rem 700 bolt knob can be machined and threaded and a tacitcal bolt knob screwed on. I have done many of them. No need to replace the bolt. Turn around time, less than a week.

Badger Bolt knob installed by Arwen Ace :) - I should say the entire gun was build by Casey. :)

Just the factory knob is machined down in size, then threaded. The bolt knobs that we make are then threaded on.
There are NO ramifications to how the gun shoots, so if it shoots well now it will shoot the same after. If it is a 5 moa shotgun now, it will not improve except in looks and bolt function:eek:

Rings and base are Near. Bolt knob is badger. Detachable mag conversion is a VBULL.
The stock indeed is from ATR. Barrel is a MacLennan. Trigger is a Jewell.
I think it turned out OK:)

More work for Rick

Hmmm......Remington 700 SPS Tactical in .223 with ATRS Tactical bolt knob. Should look exactly like mine, worth every penny.

Ahh yes. Indeed a thing of beauty. I see you have a picatinny style base and tactical rings, that's the next plan of attack after the bolt knob. I've got a 3200 tactical scope on mine, looks mean.

This rifle is one excellent piece of work. Getting hard to get them these days.

As stated by Carbonrod, we make DBM kits that are designed for the following calibers.
308 or variants there of.
300 win mag or variants there of
338 Lapua
Once Accuracy Int releases their 223 mags we will be able to offer DBM kits for that caliber as well.

right here in calgary too, thats pretty sweet. i'll think about it in the new year.
