Load primer tubes ---- One primer at a time :)

Just finished setting up the case feeder attachment on mine... I had to put a spacer on the drive lug of the case plate so that it reliably engaged. Very annoying. Works nice now...

Now I need to setup the proper powder level and get a rcbs powder lockout die.

Then let the 40's commence.

You will love the L&L ap it is a great machine you have made a great choice, you won't complian about caliber and primer change over like the Dillon guys:D

How thick of a spacer did you use? I have only had trouble with .223 on mine so far with the case feeding, I thought most of that was because of the narrow based case and being tipsy...

But know that you mention it,if there was more space between the shell plate and the drive they would not get caught in the edge of the plate?

I have done 9mm, .357 mag and 45 with no isuses what so ever...

I'm really happy with mine so far, still gotta hammer down the casefeeder timing yet.

Sometimes cases get jammed in the shellplate, sometimes they don't. Its gonna take a little tinkering methinks

i have a dillon 650, and yes it sucks to change primer and calibers systems :( that's why i have looked at getting another press for my 9mm.

grizzly, dont know if this is what your after. with my primer tubes I took a CD case (new thin ones) used some nippers to cut the little tabs out that hold the CD in the case and use that. open it on the table put the primers on one side, close it and flip it over. works great.

I take about 2 or 3 minutes to go from one caliber to anthother with my LNL.

That is a total change over say from .45 to 9mm

New primer size.
New plate
New dies
New powder measure.

I Love my L&L w Case feeder too :D.

Tipsy case = simple solution. Cut yourself a 1 1/2 " x 1 1/2 " section out of a thick Ziplock (or similar source) plastic bag and grab a 1 1/2" length of scotch tape. Wrap the plastic piece around the drop tube so that about 1 1/4" extends below the tube opposite the spacer. Tape it in place. Problem over :D.

now that's what i call efficient! where did you get your press from?? i'm looking for one of these but can't find them anywhere :(

im still waiting for my shellplates to start loading i got a pile of brass that needs to be put to work

That was the hard part of getting going. I had a hey of a time getting shell plates, expander inserts and bushings etc.

I managed to get some stuff sent right from Hornady after a long wait.

It was worth the wait as said above the calibers change over is quick so I am set up to load 9 mm,38,357,44 mag and 45 LC at any given time.

I need more primer fill tubes to make it quicker to load once I get going. The case feeder would be a great addition as well. I have spent all my money on primers, powder and bullits to feed that pig.

Right on, thanks I will give that a try...

Hey guys I was wondering where you can order one of these from / are there any good deals on them right now? I have been looking into it a little bit and I think the Hornady looks like the way to go! Thanks for any help :)

Just buy those measuring inserts, why whole powder measure? Just to use different powder?

I own a Hornedy Projector for 17 years now and love it.
I just bought a L-N-L and its even better, I think Hornedy makes great heavy duty presses, and the L-N-L system is a great idea, so easy and fast to change calibers.
