I live on the edge of town and these tracks showed up after the cold spell we had. They go into the ditch and then out of town. I'm guessing a fox and coyote. I put my foot print next to them for a size reference. I wear a 10.5 shoe.

There are faint claw marks and cat prints are rounder. My guess is also fox and maybe coyote or brush wolf. Dogs usually don't have their tracks neatly in a row. I'm comparing the tracks to my cats and dogs.

Coyote and pussy cat.
Obviously, not at same time, or pussy cat tracks would disappear fast!

Big ones are dog. The little ones are likely fox. The dog is going at a lope from the brief look of the track grouping I can see while the fox is trotting, placing one paw into the track of the other.

Any guess on the species as there aren't any 'pets' that roam around in the wee hours of the night? Actually I haven't seen any domesticated dogs roaming free around here.

South East of Prince Albert Saskatchewan. There have been Cougar and Wolf sightings in the area and we do have the Coyotes and Foxes around here (which I will try to thin out in the near future).

They're just sugar coating it so you won't have trouble sleeping tonight, KDX.

The big one's are werewolf tracks!

What is a brush wolf? I try and tell my inlaws there is no such thing but they disagree.
