I'm thinking of getting a different scope for my Model 12 LPV (.223). It presently wears a Falcon Menace 4-14 FFP and I was thinking of getting something with more magnification, but I don't have a lot of cash. What would be the best scope in the $600-$800 range? Thanks in advance.

Maybe check out Meuller scopes?
Comes with sunshade as well. 8 x 32 with target dot.
About 300 bucks or so.
That would probably be OK, but I got kind of spoiled with a VX-II on my rimfire. I might have to save up for a while and get a VX-3 with more magnification.

if you really like your falcon, you could always try a bulzeyepro optical booster from mysticplayer.
i just bought one to try, it's a 2.5x unit, but due to abdominal surgery last week i haven't had a chance to try it out yet
if it works, it would save you alot of cash
btw, i had a bushnell 6500 (2.5-16x42) mounted on my rem sps tac in .223 and it worked awesome, it's now mounted on my robarms xcr and for that application it's a bit on the heavy side, but she's crystal clear and constant eye relief is nice

I have the Bushnell 6500 2.5-16X42 Tactical, its pretty nice, havent had it out yet to test drive but hope to this weekend.
Sightron, havent looked through one, but people compare the optics to scopes costing more than double, Mysticplayer speaks highly of them and sells them, I would have bought one if I didnt get a smokin deal on my 6500.
