Parker Hale twist rate

Anybody out there knows what is the twist rate on 308 Win. Parker Hale 1200TX with 26" bbl?

This thread suggests it might be 1:14, but you'll have to see if it is actually the same rifle your talking about.

I would have said 4 groove 12 twist , just a guess

They come in 2 different rates:

1/12 and 1/14

We had both available in the Canadian stock system for the C3/1200TX

I got a 13 twist 4 groove Gaillard thats sweet with 168's , the 14 is most likely for the 147 ammo

We used 173gr M118 match ammo in them, as well as 147gr standard nato ball ammo.

If you're looking for the utmost accuracy, it all goes back to having to reload and find what works best in your rifle.

The 1 in 14 would be great for 155's and around there. I doubt it would be good for 175's or heavier.

Mine is a 1-14 and it loves sierra 168gr match better than anything. I tried 155gr and real nato 147 norma ammo and I actuly got a bigger group.
