Ruger 303 poll

One Million dollars

Well, I'll start at the low end and perhaps we can meet somewheres in the middle. So I'll start with $1.05.

Yes I have to agree I'm interested to see who would put down a $500 deposit on a $1500 firearm talk is cheap I have a couple of Number 1'S but not inserted in a 303 Britt at all. Show me the Money.

Zero.

Not even a little bit interested, except as a potential action donor for something nice. It would have to be priced accordingly, to consider buying it at all.

It absolutely amazes me how an individual who has no interest whatsoever in buying one of these rifles has to hop right in and give an opinion on price???? If you are not interested, butt out!! That being said, I would be willing to pay $1300.00 for one of these, but would need a 24" tube on it. 1A or 1S, either configuration is OK. Eagleye.

Have to agree a 1-A is my 1st choice as well, the medium weight (with sights) second, and the RSI last. The full wood really doesn't bother me that much, it's the 20" barrel that does though...
I have committed to take 2 in any config. though....:D
I would hope that $1200-$1300 will be the magic number.

Like I said in an earlier post. In my oppinion the only thing Ruger does not have is the reamers for these rifles. Unless we are asking for a barrel contour they do not have on hand the only differece in these rifle is the serial #sand chambering. I cannot for the life of me see why they ould not be able to make the rifles in whatever configuration is ordered. It all comes down to barrel configuration and length, they have the rest.
For me I like the RSI.

As they both have sights and they both have a AH forearm what would be the the difference between a 1-A with a 24" barrel and a 1-S with a 24" barrel?
Barrel diameter?

X2
I would not even think of buying one of these with the intent to use it as a donor, there are many other rugers out there that would be much better to use.
I have a 7MM mag that is perfect for that , as a matter of fact!:D

Sorry you feel that way.

I like Ruger Number 1's just fine, just wouldn't be at all interested in paying a premium for a caliber that I would not otherwise have in my house. I certainly would not want a .303 Brit, cut with a SAAMI spec reamer. Too sloppy to pay premium for.

Not interested in anteing up a deposit on a rifle sight unseen, and about as enthused about paying any extra for a so-called special serial number.

Funny thing, about it being a free world and all. :D

Merry Christmas!

Agree 100% with Eagleye. Have stashed the funds away for when/if this happpens. Hard part will be to not spend it in the meantime.
