HK MR308 has arrived

'wicked, some people just don't have anything good to say, period. Oh and I would buy it if I had the coin, in a heartbeat.

I'd love one too, and with enough disposable cash, there'd be one in my hands!.

But I want to wait and see if a good non-restricted comes to market soon....
(I'd prefer something other than an M14/M305 :p)

whats that anti facebook thing about.

There's a Facebook anti-C-391 group here: h ttp://www.facebook.com/group.php?v=wall&gid=162437519819

There's an anti there, going by the name End GunCulture, who thought that he could score points by outing me as a CGNer (he has an account, and lurks here pretty regularly), and the quote in my .sig is by him. He seems to have taken his ball and gone home, sadly. He was a lot of fun to play with.

I'm still holding out for the RFB. Although the Robertson Arms one looks interesting as a concession prize.

In terms of restricted rifles, I'd buy the HK if I had the extra money. Of course I'd also buy the POF and a few others to complete the AR-10 rifle collection. :D I'd better win the lottery.

Now if only a certain federal law enforcement agency would get some of these to supplant individual-issue MR223's.... oh wait, I thought this thread was about pipe dreams..... :onCrack:

Several public agencies have purchased H&K 416 carbines, for use by speciality units in Canada.

I was aware that several specialty units had 416's, but it's the regular patrol units that I'd like to see included as a carbine is something that's sadly very overdue.

Agency in Ontario has purchased in excess of 2000 Colt Canada carbines, they are used for everyday patrol duties and serve just as well as an H&K 416.

Awesome. Another valuable post from wally.

Don't you have a drunk thread to start, or something else equally valuable to show everyone how responsible legal gun owners are?

:agree:

Some people buy Johnny Walker Blue Label Anniversary or Glenlivet Cellar Collection Scotch for $3,000 a bottle without so much as a sniff because they choose not to piss away the limited minutes of their one-pass life whinging about what the finer things cost.

Not everyone is going to cry like a girl over a $4k price tag on a rifle.
