First off, I apologize if this topic had already been beaten to death in a thread. I haven't found in a search, and I don't know if anyone else has approached this subject. (maybe Thunderflash's thread, "Black & Green Rifles" forum Dead ??) So, I also offer up my apologies beforehand to anyone that I'm offending here. So here goes:
The sub-header for the Black gun forum is "Assault rifles...for people with good taste".
I have an issue with this, since none of the guns we talk about are "assault rifles". Additionally, you would think that we could come up with a better title than assault rifle, since we all know the definition of an assault rifle.
I feel like this is just giving fuel to the anti's "lets ban all scary-looking guns that hold than one round at a time" argument because we are ourselves wrongly identifying our own guns.
Anyone else agree, or have a better sub-header for what to call this thread? Maybe we can pirate the "oh so macho" bit from the shotgunners!
