I thought I'd share my excitement with my fellow Gunnutz.
I'm fairly new to shooting BR rifle.
I don,t compete except for a little friendly competition at my local range.
I'm limited to 100 yards.
I've owned a Savage .223 and a Savage 6mmbr.
Both were very nice rifles, but I always would look at nice BR rigs and drool
and dream that maybe at some point I would have one.
Well, somehow the Gods were smiling down on me and a build kind of fell into my lap.
A good buddy of mine changed horses in the middle of the stream and I'm
going to do the build he was heading for.
I think I've got the perfect caliber happening for 100 and 200 yd. shooting.
6ppc.
Here's where it starts.

Oh yeah..A Kelby Panda in 6ppc.
I've got a Robertson Speedy Br stock in a light red.
Not sure about the red,,,may have it professionally repainted.
Barrel by Mclennan...1 in 13.5 twist
Jewell Br trigger
Kelby rings
I haven,t picked the scope yet,but I'm thinking a silver Weaver T36.
I believe Joe Kroetsh is going to put it together for me.
I have no brass, dies, bullets, powder, etc, but I'll have the winter to get organized before I can shoot it in the Spring.
To say that I'm really thrilled would be an understatement.

I know little about what your having done but the bolt and action look pretty sweet and if that's a sign of more to come this rifle should be a knock out.

welcome to the world of the 6PPC.

I will guarantee you once you start shooting custom actions and a cartridge that has the ability of the 6PPC you will never go back.

Good luck and enjoy.

I know exactly what you're saying.
This summer I had the chance to try out a friends custom 6mmbr Bench Rifle,
with a Bat action.
I only had to cycle that action once ,and I saw my future.

the group of benchresters

can be found at becnhrest.ca,
what matches will you shoot at (as you can compete against yourself and get some good infor on how to improve or what new goodies can be bought for style to attact women or groupies)

welcome to the world of real accuracy

Jeff
