Thompson SMG

Wolverine used to carry the semi-auto one's back before they were prohibited. I think around $1100 and they were made by someone with a name like Auto Ordinance.

if all you want to do is shoot one, tse had the "commando" arms clone available for rent- haven't cked the rental pool in a while

Allen Lever had auto-ordnance make up 20" barreled Model 1927A1's and sold them. The Canadian Government just took a copy of the US Government restricted import gun list and did more....they wanted some of them "turn in for destruction". It wasn't original!
Model 1921Thompson's were the original restricted submachine guns in Canada. There are a few of them with collectors and the rest are at Police Dept's, Vancouver City Police has some of the ADNAC Mining Company 1921,1921/28,and 1928 guns from Trail BC.

Closest thing I can think of that actually shoots <something> would be airsoft ... Although it's a bit of a grey area to figure out if it fits the definition of "replica".

For anyone interested the Thompson clone that t-star is taking about is the ' Volunteer arms commando mark 45', See link: http://jtjersey.com/Mark45/Mark45.html
I have no idea if it was prohibited or not, as it uses no major Thompson parts and was not call a Thompson. TSE one broke years ago and you can no longer get part.

Deckard I think the guy that Klunk is refering to from the Edmonton shows might be Jim from Sebarms. IIRC his asking prices might be a little high, but he also isn't selling cheap knockoffs. Considering he has brought them to a few shows now, he might be somewhat flexible on the price. Pm me for his #.

Prohib because it looks sort of kinda vaguely like a real Thompson, which some asshat Lieberal bureaucrat saw a picture of, wet his panties, and then decided the future of those particular firearms in Canada. Thanks Liberals. Keep it in mind when you vote. - dan
