Safety Lever on CZ858

Hey there,I was just curious if anybody else has a cz with the paint all chipped off the safety catch.No big deal,,I'm thinking it's probably from shipping/packaging. It almost looks like the paint never stuck properly on it.

No problem with safety catch for mine because its parkerized and the paint on all my cz hold very well even when the barrel get very very very hot!

No came from factory that way.

Ya I think that's what's in the future for mine..I've seen quite a few posts on here with that done and it looks pretty sharp ....like this one for example

I've been thinking about Krylon for mine, it would be a lot cheaper than getting it blued by a gunsmith, just not sure if I have the "courage."

Bluing is way old school, there are better options if your willing to go that far. Honestly Krylon is great, if it scratches or chips then just repaint it or let the character shine!

i just bought a new 858 4v and the is chipping off everywhere it seems brittle ive had a 858 2v for 2 years and the paint is fine . i think some guns in the latest shipment were painted with a bad batch of paint.

I heard some guys use BBQ paint for the high heat from the barrel ...Anybody have any thoughts on this?

Throw it in the garbage and buy the new NEA ambi/multi position safety that is due out in Jan. I will be posting pictures of the model shortly and the real deal in the next two weeks.
