ever heard of this guy? I ordered a shoulder holster and was amazed by it. Check out the photo gallery:

I got one of his holsters for a friend in the US. Very positively impressed.
 
Joe makes all my leatherwork, he is excellent and has done an incredible ammount of research into holsters and sheathes. He can, and does, make anything out of leather. larocheleathers.com

I got the shoulder holster and it's a real piece of art.. it's so nice the pictures really don't do it justice. I have a bunch of other stuff on order right now.. and boy is he fast too.

From what I understand, he has been doing this for over 30 years.. only he's a bit slow with computers so his site is not top notch. I'm just amazed that i've been on cgn since 2004 and i've never heard of him before. He's in the Ottawa region.
 
Joe & Claudette are both shooters, they are not a big business types, they run it from home. Joe is disabled, and makes his living doing the leather work. he has a huge interest in historical detail. Joe studied the "old west" and works with many original hand tools. He loves to get accuracy and detail in his work, and has done a lot of custom design stuff, and museum restoration.
