Extended Glock barrels, Who makes them?

I'm looking to pick up some bits and pieces for a build I plan on doing.
One of the things I need is a Glock barrel that is significantly longer than the standard barrel.
I'm looking for something close to a 16" barrel (between 10-16" should do). I have found that there is a company out there making an extended Glock barrel but it is only extended by about an inch.
Does anyone know if there is a company out there that makes a barrel like this?

If it makes a difference I would be looking for 3 barrels (1 x 40S&W, 1 x 357SIG and 1 x 9mm)

A 16" glock barrel? I think the weight would be too far forward, putting stress on the rails while operating. I bet i wouldn't function properly. You have one of those plastic frames to drop your pistol in?
 
Why in gods name would you want a 16" glock barrel?
Just go buy a carbine.
Are you going to use one of those silly "glock stocks".
If you really want one just have dlask or bits of pieces make one.It wouldnt be that much.
 
The price of the mech tech carbine, plus pistol puts it above the cost of a NR Storm. I would take the long slide pistol and mate it to the setup that MPK5 posted on anothere thread.
 
Yes I am building a silly glock carbine.
The reason for the longer barrel it to reach optimal velocity from my loads.
The reason why I want to build this is because it is different. I don't care if there is a cheaper alternative. This is just something for fun.
The barrel being long will cause issues but the unit that I intend to use has provisions to float the barrel.

Ya. I want to do something that I have not seen done.
I have always been interested in SMG's but the ones that I'm most interested in are starting at +$4000usd or are next to impossible to have.
The idea of being able to pull more accuracy from my Glock is something that I have always been looking for. I figure with the added support of the stock, added accuracy of a match grade barrel, the added velocity due to the longer barrel should yeild better results.

Better results? It depends upon how you define better...

There is more to life than velocity. (I refer to reliability.)

The reason that you haven't seen it done you might learn for yourself...when you add a s**tload of weight to a barrel that has to move to ensure proper function.

What caliber are you using?

It has already been tested and functions perfectly.
The longer barrel has a bushing to support the extra weight of the barrel.
I need to dertermin the optimal length to get the velocity out of the rounds.
I will be shooting 9mm,40sw and 357sig.
Does anyone know the best length for each of these calibers?

Yes, but you can't get a pistol out of a NR Storm. I bought a R Storm, but sold it - I wasn't impressed. I've got a Hera Arms setup and have ordered the CAA pistol stock as well. You just can't get the full effect without a at least a 10" barrel - it will give you 3.5" of barrel coming out of the Hera Arms setup. I'm hoping I can put a flash suppressor on as well or faux suppressor.

Enjoy, you will find about 16" is about the longest you will need.
