My wife,10 year old and I just got back from the range. We were using Blazer Brass 115gr. 9mm and the shells kept getting hung up while ejecting when my wife and kid were shooting. It did'nt happen to me once. Is this from the limp wrist effect??? My kid is young so his wrist breaks quite a bit when he shoots.
This never happened when either of them were using American Eagle brass,,,while we were there another guy walked up and said that he had the same problem.
Anybody else out there have problems with these shells?????

Yep, likely limp wristing. Lots of polymer guns in particular are very succeptible to this problem. One solution, past the obvious strengthening of the shooting grip, may be to try to find lighter recoil springs for you pistol, as the recoil spring is likely as strong as it can be and therefore a bit stronger than it need be.

Maybe that particular ammo is a bit weaker than the other ammo you mentioned, so the other ammo is getting over that hump and managing to eject itself free despite the limp wristing.

You can show your family some different shooting stances.

Modified isosceles is great, but they also should be familiar with some others. Either Chapman or Modified Weaver might solve the problem, and they may find the limp wrist issue will just disappear.

When I had my SR9 I never had any problems with Feeding or Ejecting... Now my wife, there's another story. I'm trying to teach her how to firmly hold the gun but in the meantime she's having to live with some stovepiping and FTFs. She'll get it.

I just picked up the SR9 myself. First time out to the range I had 4-5 failures to eject, this was within the first 50 rounds. After that I put about 350 rounds through it flawlessly.

My Buddy and his Girlfriend both have SR9's and when him and his son and girlfriend were shooting they had problems with the cartridge jamming ALOT. They were using the Blaser 9mm 115gr too. The solution was to move up to American eagle 124gr and it was problem solved instantly, this was recommended by a Gunsmith/instructor at the range.

What Range are you shooting at?

My buddy's family and Mine all shoot at Ridgedale in Abbotsford.
