I was thinking of leaving mine off as well. So you've had no problems with it ejecting the spend brass? Somewhere I heard that if you leave it off you have to change out the ejector. Not sure of why that would be but I might be inclined to try it without the LCI and see how it works.

Sure makes it easier to clean without it and legally not required here as far as I know.
