stainless slides for Glocks in Canada? where?

hey guys, just wanted to see if anyone knew where i could find stainless slide for my G17. anyone know?

AFAIK, the only supplier for stainless slides is Caspian, and I believe they may be an iten they only make sporadicly.

hmm, maybe i should just duracoat the slide. I have a nice, shiny titanium paint. or cherry red lol

i have so many different colours, and i have only painted one of my guns so far.

Its not paint, its a tenifer finish that is very robust.

I had a G19 slide hard chromed by Rodger Kotanko. Not very expensive either. Then I sold it because guns should be black.

I thought the slides were stainless and tennifer coated. However in a couple of the online glock torture-tests where the tennifer is compromised, they rust like hell.

ya, but i have enough dark coloured firearms, i want a nice hard chromed slide, just to be a little different. I'm sure there are many glock fans out there that get bored of how their glock looks and want to "spice" up their gun

All gunsmiths wait until they have a whack of stuff to reblue or chrome. It's a tedious process. Just ask him when he plans a run and send it then.

Actually the coating on glock slides is not tenifer. The coating is a nitrate. Tenifer is a process done to the metal. You can remove the nitrate coating and as long as you don't over do it , the tenifer process is still in the metal.

lone wolf glock has stailess slides and if enough interest was brought forward I am sure questar would import them.... I am in for a stainless G34 slide.
