Well I was in the gun store at the inlaws over Christmas and bought 2 lbs of Reloader 17, now I need to buy a gun to try it in. I have a nice mid size cal -.260 Rem. So I was thinking something like 300saum 7mm-saum or 300wsm.
Can't wait.

The future for the saum cartridges in general doesn't look very bright at the moment. Of course being a reloader, that's not a big issue. However, Winchesters line does seem to be selling better.

Sounds normal to me, maybe I have a problem too then. I had 750 brass, dies, 2 moulds, gas checks and a conversion unit for my Dillon 550 before I bought my 500 S&W revolver.

i'm not sure how common the 300 saum is, but if you decide to go with the 7mm saum, try to buy the brass first, i had a hard time locating a source, but when i did find it i loaded up for life, then i sold the rifle
