Opinions on Bushnell Elite vs. Spacemaster Spotting Scope

I am looking at buying either a Bushnell Elite 20-60 x 70mm ($343 + tripod) or a Bushnell Spacemaster 15-45 x 60 mm ($399 with tripod).

Use is for 100m at the range.

Anyone own one of these have any opinions?

If you can get a Bushnell Elite 20-60x70 spotter for $343...buy it now!!! as that is less than cost...our regular retail is $657. There is no comparison in the two described as the Spacemaster is lower mid level and the Elite is top of the line (in the Bushnell brand). Phil.

Too good to be true I guess.

I called the company and after a bit they said "out of stock" even though their website said they had them. Then within minutes that page disappeared. I think maybe someone screwed up with the sale price.

Thats too bad. FWIW, I have an Elite 15-45 Compact and it is a dandy of a scope (and cheap enough that if I destroy or lose/forget it in the field, I won't cry about it).
