Yes, there is a rail under there. I will take pics with the optics removed. I'll hopefully get time to take pictures in the next day or two (if they last).

Here's some info for ya anark. There is a rail underneath. It's polymer and it sits lower than the metal rail on the non-optic model. Some optics will need a riser to get a good cheek weld.

This is an optic model with the factory optic removed.
