Received my first Handgun today!!!! ..pics

My first real one anyway
I had my local gun shop order this through Freedom Ventures.
Nice easy smooth transaction

STI Trojan 6.0 40 s&w w/3 dot adjustable night sights
and rosewood ultima target grips.
I wanted to just do it right the first time...

I will have to get out to the range next week and see how it shoots...can't wait!

That is a beautiful pistol. Don't feel too bad about the finger on the trigger. With all the images of improper firearm handling thrown at us from TV and the movies, it's virtually impossible not to put your finger on the trigger every time you pick up a gun until you make a conscious effort not to.

At the end of the day though, as long as you didn't sent any bullets anywhere unintentional, you're doing fine.

Now you need to go and shoot it.

And after a while you will realize that it is just way too lonely sitting in the gun cabinet all by itself. At which point you will go decide it needs some brothers and sisters to keep it company.....

really though,....I have no problem putting my finger on the trigger if my gun is empty/clear, etc,..........especially when I dry-fire.

Excellent first handgun. My first was a 5.0 Trojan, still have it and always will. Awesome gun.
