"...a load for my 1873 Rifle and 1873 SAA in 357..." You'll have to work up a load for each. You might get lucky and find one that shoots well out of both, but it isn't likely.
There's CAS handgun loads on Alliant's site.

Make a dummy round up with the swc seated to the crimp and try the feeding, both fast and slow cycle, sometimes the leading drive band on SWCs can hang up on feeding, and some you must cycle quickly to overcome hangups. Reliable feeding is the most important factor (other then safety) in CAS loads.

I agree with Ben. Check for reliable feeding first. If your gun will not be reliable with SWC bullets then it won't matter how accurate the load is.

I've never been overly concerned about finding accurate loads for CAS. Most likely almost anything will be good enough. You are not shooting 100 yards. More like 10-20. Get enough power to knock down any targets of that type. Otherwise keep the velocity in a reasonable (lower) range.

There is no reason that a good load for your revolver won't be a good load for your rifle. For simplicity you don't want two different loads.
As mentioned, make up a half dozen dummy rounds for the rifle and see how they work, before you start loading.
I use a chronograph to work up my loads, as I want a load to have about 750 fps from my revolver, and about 950 fps from my rifle. Some like them slower.
I use Titegroup and 231 (because I have a fair amount of them), but I have used 700-x as well.
