"Shoot-to-Live" Presenting the Johnson Method of Musketry Coaching As Adopted By the Canadian Army
239 pages.

Hi:

Just had a buddy over the other day and was looking at my 'Library' and saw my book by Johnson and told me they were selling in the $150.00 range.

Any thoughts on his statement as to value?

Thanks

jpc
ps: it is in very nice read condition

I've sold a couple for 50 bucks each in the last few years. I have seen them at the shows lately for $70 both English and French versions.
Anyone can ask 150, but I can't see a buyer paying more than 70-100.
I have 1 copy for myself, autographed by some of Canada's best markmen, including John Leprech 1st Canadian on a bomber to shoot down a ME 262, and Canadian/World shooting champ Larry Fish who also removed over a dozen Germans/Italians with a #4T in his WWII years.

Condition is everything. If it's in pristine condition, it will sell for $150. If its' well thumbed, it will sell for $50. The price will vary for anything less or in between.

The last one I picked out of a box at the Kamloops gun show 2 years ago was well thumbed and I got it for $20. If the book is minty, wrapped in plastic, so the perusing public can't get their grubby hands on it, I would pay much more. They're not printing any more of them and I would like to believe that there are several boxes of new ones buried in storage but I've been told that just isn't so any more.
