Princess Auto Spotting Scope (sale)

Bought one a while ago and like everyone else regretted doing so.

I thought to my self, "If it works, great. If not, I'm out 25 bucks"

Well I am out 25 bucks.

the cheap bushnell at CT is by far the cleanest dirty shirt in the world of low end scopes...

ok, but the CT spotting scope can be had for $50....its of course not going to be the best glass in the world.

I picked one up a while ago, just for the hell of it....It does the job its supposed to

I bought the Princess Auto spotting scope at the sale 2 years ago. It's only 23X. I didn't think it was that bad for $29.99.It's no Scmmidt and Bender that's for sure! Not quite powerful enough for rifle range use, but OK for finding birds in trees and looking at scenery. Mind you there's no lock to hold the scope in place on the tripod, so it flops down when you let go of it.
The Canadian Tire spotting scope, which is a Bushmaster , not a Bushnell, is great for looking at holes in paper at 100 yards. But don't pay the regular price of $99.99. Wait for it to go on sale for $49.99.

Bought it, lost the receipt so didn't return it, sold it at a garage sale, felt guilty for weeks afterward.

Should have shot it and burned the carcass to make sure it could never harm another person. (ed. Thanks for making me shoot coffee out my nose!)

:DBut other than that, it was an OK scope?:D
