North Eastern Arms VZ/CZ Railed Handguard and Muzzle Brake (with pics!)

Thanks Charles ...if I get this right, I need to let my dealer know to contact you for the uppers that have the sides lowered so I can use my 552 on it (I have a 552 not a 512 - does that make any difference?)
correct, although the picture i posted with my 512 on it has not been modified

and then wait for the new barrel clamp so I can have my front sight co witness with the 552.
Yes, but you will need the barrel clamp and the railed adpater

Will the modified upper have the captive detent ball of the 4th generation uppers? (I've had a standing order at my dealer for a set of uppers and lowers for a while now but have been waiting till it gets all sorted out).
150 pieces will be complete tomorrow and shipping to dealers. That issue has been sorted for this batch. From what i understand, none of the dealers have stock right now on uppers or lowers. So any new orders will be filled with an upper that has a captive ball.

I'm assuming that the lower hand guard will be fine as is with the modified upper - correct?

correct

received my NEA rail today, it is very light and very well made, had a very tiny ding by the pin but cant notice it unless you really look, The pin would not come out at first and i had to force it out, i think because of the coating, its rough getting it in and out right now to but if i work it enough times im thinking it will even out. I believe i have a version 4? says NEA on one side, Czechpoint says it doesn't have a captive ball bearing but i cant really make the thing come out even turning it upside down and taping it the ball stays in there. love it though:)Whats a good paint to put on it? a few tiny spots have specs of silver showing through and id like to touch it up with something.

Put my new brake on last night. It is an awesome Flash Suppressor as well as damoens the felt recoil fairly well. Overall I like it alot.
