Things here have been incredibly busy over the last few months, we've been hard at work to bring some really exciting products to market in 2010. Production is in full swing and some projects that have been in development for over two years are coming to market in the next few months. We are really excited about our VZ58 modernization program which includes some products we've been talking about for some time and others we've been working on quietly. Our commitment to our customers is simple: Bring quality intelligent products to market at prices the average shooter can afford. We're using a wide array of manufacturing processes and treatments to control pricing and maximize quality. Although some of the pricing is good quality will never be sacrificed for price and to back that we are committed to stand behind every product we sell.
During this week leading up to SHOT show, during SHOT and in the two weeks after we will be announcing product releases one at a time. In this thread we'll be announcing products for the VZ58 Family of Rifles, pricing and release timelines. I am out of the office till the end of January so CAD models will largely have to do for the time being. To pre-order any of our products send me an email sean@rauchtactical.com to make arrangements. Stay tuned as this week we will be announcing other VZ58 products culminating just after SHOT Show the the complete modernization package that will be available at a limited time discount for CGN members.
Starting today we're excited to finally announce after 12 months of development and testing:
the Rauch Tactical VZ58 Bolt release.
This part is made from 4140 tool steel with a nitrocarburized surface treatment giving it fantastic durability.
Introductory Price: $40 plus shipping and taxes.
Availability: Late Feburary.

Our next announcement is the release of our:
Rauch Tactical version of a VZ58 extended ambi magazine release
This is a direct replacement magazine release that allows the shooter to release the magazine in 3 separate ways. The release hangs down just below the trigger guard allowing the user to actuate it in the tradition fashion with the thumb while grasping the empty magazine and twisting the magazine forward to strip the magazine. The second method of magazine removal is with the trigger or middle finger, simply press forward on the release and remove the magazine with the support hand. Finally the main reason we extended the release down below the trigger guard is to allow the shooter to do a "tactical magazine change" in the same fashion as with the AK47 family of rifles, with a fresh magazine in the support hand you simply push on the release with the fresh magazine stripping the empty magazine out and replace it with a fresh magazine.
