Anyone know what the odds of an average Joe getting approved for training in the US are?

A guy I know took a defensive pistol course at the Sig Academy in the States, drove the whole way in a rental. He's far from being a LEO, a Honda salesman actually.

Magpul Dynamics' overall level of polish and quality seem to have increased quite a bit since the original The Art of the Tactical Carbine series. I'm looking forward to checking out both of upcoming series.

Basically Im just saying it looks like a lot of fun and that I wish there were more readily available courses promoted that are like this, but geared towards the fun of the experience.

I have no reason whatsoever for actual training like this other than it'd be a blast to do on a weekend with some friends. Im aware that courses similar to this run at borden and other DND bases throughout the summer, as well as on the firearms canada website lists lots of companies that offer similar tactical training.

edit- wow, just checked their prices too, $600 for 3 days? Thats really good! almost worth a road trip down to check out

BS. Your reasons may include, bettering your skills, learning some new skills, learning your failure point(s) and of course plain old fashioned fun. Regardless of how intense a training course is, its always fun. The pistol skills demonstrated in the video above can be had from several schools to include Tactical Response as well as SigArms Academy. Both have offered courses in Canada.

Tactical Response tried to make cool videos by putting people behind the target - but Magpul Dynamics totally punked everyone in real production professionalism and values.
