Do you mean "issued" as in... "Issued" or as in "As Issued" ie. not refurbished?

Matching numbers with matching Waffenamt ie. all (bcd)?

relatively common mid-war Gustloff Werke. Apparently known for nice hammer-forged barrels.

Pictures are worth the proverbial thousand words...

I dunno about RARE but if it's unmolested it'll fetch a fair bit more than a rifle with a replacement stock or ep'd bolt or R/C refurb. Not like there's crates of them sitting in one of Johnone's warehouses waiting to clear customs (Oh boy would I like to be wrong about that...).

Pictures are REALLY helpful in a case like this. Mausers are better documented than some other Milsurp rifles but in the C&R business condition is pretty much everything. It's easy enough to re-stamp parts so... Pictures.

So far all we have is a year and code. So all you get is "No."
 
I think you mean serial numbers, not waffenampts which are inspector marks. If it is an all matching Kar98k that is in its original configuration, then it is worth more than a Russian capture or one that is non-matching.

Pictures would help.
 
The big issue is the matching numbers. They can either be matching from the factory or force matched matching from a variety of country's rearsenalling programs. Some force matching is easy to spot, some not so easy. Vopo and Czech reworks are often sold as 'matching' but more often than not, have some replacement parts that are force matched to the rifle. As Coyote and Nabs said, pics would help us nail down which type you have.
