Where do you buy your .22lr ammo?

Hey all. Just wondering where you all buy your ammo? I have a Ruger 10/22 and I'll be purchasing a Walther P22 as soon as my Restricted Licence shows up in the mail :) So I've decided to buy a case or two of .22lr. Is there anywhere online that is better than just going to my local shop to buy ammo? Thanks.
 
Simmons has a good variety AND is is only a little more if any. We need to support the Al Simmon types. By the way fishing world carries supplies too in Hamilton.

I'm with Camj on this one. What is the price difference between the local gunstore and your WalMart. A dollar, 2 dollars, maybe $3 on a valuepack of Federals.
If people stop supporting their local gun stores then they won't exist much longer. WalMart will be there till Dec2012 or whenever the world is supposed to end. Cannot say that for our small gunshops. And good luck ordering some fancy gun gear like special sights, mounts, etc from WalMart once the local shops are gone.

Simmons & Fishing world are 1st on my list. I get all my .223, 380 & 9mm at Simmons. I sometimes get bulk .22 at Wally, Cantire & Bass.
 
I like to keep some of the high velocity plated HP Winchester Super X handy...get it from CT usually...stuff is hell on squirrels, coons, possums, and waiting for a 'yote to try it on too...
 
i go to Al Simmons and buy ammo everytime i pass thru Hamilton. They also have variety, and very cheap ammo. for a 10/22, i'd go with CCI.
CT or Walmart is your next best bet.

I buy from Canadian Tire using my points from Canadiantire Mastercard,so I have all the time ammo for free.:ar15:
 
If you have a Peavey Mart they usually have a really good price. Around here anyway.
 
ammo's like crack i get it where ever i can!!!!!!. it really depends on what your gun shoots best, and what your shooting. for plinking i use what ever i can get cheap at walmart, canadaintire. if iam wacking gophers i usually use remington yellow jackets. most of the better, higher end ammo (target) will have to be bought or ordered through a sporting goods shop. it's crazy how good some of the cheap stuff shoot's though, at least in my guns.
 
I save all my Crappy Tire gas money and cash it in for bulk packs every 4 months. (average 3 boxes)
I also purchase from TSC, WallyMart, Ellwood Epps, CGN EE and just about any sports store I walk into. :D
 
Usually Wholesale sports i go with yellow jackets in my 1022 its a gopher gun
Kdx is there a large selection at peavey mart ?
