best place ot buy vortex scope?

Title pretty much says it all. I m looking to buy a vortex scope. Their US site won't sell to Canadians, and their Canadian site isn't setup for sales. I think I've found only 1 reseller online in Canada.

I'm looking to buy a vortex scope and I am trying to figure out from where... anyone have any opinion?
 
I had just e-mailed votex this afternoon asking this same question about purchasing online. The price for a viper 4-12x40 on the vortex site is 399.99 for U.S. persons only and at any of the stores in Canada that offer these scopes the price is 539.99. With the dollar at almost par it's too bad a person can't order direct like people fron the states can. I haven't gotten an answer yet from Vortex but If it is good news I will let you know.

yeah, we are definitely getting bent over the pickle barrel with the exchange rate being what it is. I was hoping with the Canadian $$ being high like it is for as long as it has that the prices would come a little more in-line, but they haven't :(


That said, I can't be too disappointed with Grouseriver, there prices are close to the MSRP listed ont he canadian vortex site. I guess my beef lies with the unfair MSRP on Vortex's site....
