my point still stands- most pistols are ambi- you may have to modify slightly or not at all to achieve this, but it can be done- in the case of the 1911, all that's needed is an ambi SAFETY- you use the index finger of the left hand for everything- that works for all automatics- for double action revolvers, i use a speed loader and come across the topstrap, backanded- there's other ways documented on YOUTUBE- - in addition to the redhawk, i have a couple of beretta 22s, a beretta 92sb,a tokarev, 2 45acps, and another of 44 redhawks- about the only thing i don't have is a 22 revolver and a 38/357- plus a ruger old army single action-i've been shooting since 1970, and i''m left hand left eye dominant
