Hello,
Looking at the Compact that past while, and was curious to see a few pics of your Canadian/threaded and extended barrel HK USP Compacts. Do you find them to fit better than the fullsized? Any issues?

Also, if you have any pictures kicking around I'd love to see them as well. Thanks again, everyone. Cheers.

I absolutely love mine. It's my "never sell" pistol, for sure. I don't have any pics handy at the moment, but I can certainly vouch for the fact that it's an awesome investment to make if you like never-fail, accurate pistols.

Are you talking about the USP Compact CT in .45ACP??? Or the USPc in 9mm or .40???

I did check with Wolverine Supplies and they told me they CAN special order in a USPc in 9mm with 106mm barrel.

I've never shot a USPc but I own a P2000 and much prefer the more compact pistol to fullsize USP.

I've been spending quite a bit of time with a H&K P2000!
Very accurate, points extremely well. However..I absolutely hate the mag release and if you have big hands..buy mag floorplate extensions if you like more then 2 fingers on the pistol grip.

Doc M, where did you purchase your compact? I'm looking for a 9mm compact myself and am having problems locating a dealer who wants to help out.

Got mine from P+D Enterprises in Edmonton, click the banner above or www.p-d-ent.com .

Hands-down the best dealer with which I've ever had the pleasure of dealing, and I'm sure they could put a line on one for you... or at least know who could if they can't.

Mine's .45 and I love it, but sometimes even I wish it was in 9mm and cheaper to shoot without having to reload in bulk. Luckily, I reload like a madman whenever I can! :D

I asked both P&D and Wolverine about bringing in a USP9c and was confronted with a sea of dumbfounded looks. Perhaps I'll try again. I'm specifically looking for a USP compact to complete a collection.

Well, strictly speaking what you'd need to do is get one in .40 S&W and then buy a conversion kit for 9mm. I don't think they make a USPc in 9mm from the factory, unless things have changed since I last read up on them.

P+D stock number 07864 would fill the bill for now, and .40 isn't that bad to shoot IMO either. Then just locate a conversion kit and you're laughing.

If you want a factory 9mm, I think you'll have to go full-size USP.

The H&K USA website lists the USP compact in 9, 40 and 45. There are at least two different extended 9mm barrel options available in the US. So, you can understand my frustration when the Canadian dealers look at me with blank stares.

You have to remember that the dealers do not import from HK USA but from FN sports who imports from HK Germany. If they can't get one for you an option may be to have someone import it for you. If you look around even on the HK forums you may find what you're looking for an Questar or another service provider may be able to import it for you (check the barrel length).

Yeah the P2000 is great (wifey's gun) and uses the USPc mag but has anyone tried to get the mags yet? Talk about an exercise in frustration (so far)...at least locally (gotta save that shipping cost)...in fairness, I see that Wolverine has them on the price list (@$60/10rd 9mm) but I never actually checked for stock (waiting sucks)...that might be the next step...
