Hello hello!

Thought I'd finally join the CGN site! I've had my PAL for about a year now and I love my .22lr and am looking to expand my collection (of one :p) to a lot more in the years to come... might be getting a shotgun for my birthday! :D (Is it odd that I get excited about that?)

Looking forward to spending time on CGN!

Cheers!

Welcome. Just being on this site makes your collection expand - the EE is worse than a candy rack - talk about temptations!

Enjoy the site

Yay still more of us!! I would prefer to buy guns than purses or boots or anything! If I ever won the lottery I would need my own armoury for storage...... Haha. Welcome!

I can attest to this....If I had more money I would also have a armoury and the gf would be pissed cuz there would be no space left due to all the safes needed....as it is the storage cubby has been taken over by me....

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone!

Don't get me wrong... I still love my purses and boots but definitely love the look and feel of a shiny new gun. It's just too bad I can't wear it around town like I would a new purse or a pair of boots. ;) I do know a bag designer who uses leather rifle slings as the shoulder straps for her designs so I guess that's the closest I'll get to wearing a rifle or accessories in the middle of the city.

I agree. I'd love to flash the 'gun bling'.

Welcome aboard, not sure if anyone mentioned it but there is a "Ladies Only " forum too, and if your looking at expanding of course you have to sign up for the EE Equipment exchange!!! Cheers and Welcome, most of all have fun!!!

Thanks! It looks like I have access to the EE now but I'm still waiting on learning the secret handshake to access the Ladies Only section of the forum. :D

Magnum gurly is the group leader there - she is the one to approve the application to the ladies group.

I live in Toronto - and the girls that I know generally have no problems with guns (some of them actually like guns). Maybe because they all come from Ottawa in the first place.

A woman, gunnut from Toronto... now that's what I call progress. :D
We need lots more people like you in our club.

I may have been born and raised in Toronto, and currently living in the core of the city, but my views on a lot of issues aren't really on the same wavelength as most of the "typical" Torontonians around here... hard-pressed not to get too heated when discussing certain issues within my group of friends! :p The way I see it is, the more I can show to my friends that a city girl like me has an interest in firearms and hunting, that's a few more people who are exposed to the normalcy of owning guns.

Amen to that! I lived there for almost 3 years and decided west was best for me, but more power to you sticking it out and trying to get through to the ignorant.
