Hey everyone,
I'm looking at reloading with Federal Fusion bonded projectiles, however I CAN NOT FIND ANY IN CANADA... Indeed, my searching skills have brought me to halt, therefore I'm now relying on you, CGN'ers to assist me :)

1. Where may I find Federal Fusion projectiles - FB308F4 .308 180-grain Fusion SP

OR

2. What would be the next best alternative with almost identical characteristics as the 30-06 180 GR bullet.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Regards,

What is so fantastic about that particular bullet? Every maker out there makes at least a couple of choices for a 180gr. .308 bullet, I am sure you can find one that will suit your purposes if the Fusion bullet is not available.

Well lets see here. Who owns Federal ammo, Blount. Who owns Blount Alliant Tech systems. What bullet manufacturer does Blount own, answer Speer.
So I'm thinking the Fusion bullets are made by Speer, perhaps there is a Speer bullet that is bonded that will shoot in your rifle like a Fusion. FS

I think the bullet Federal uses in their Fusion line is not available as a component.
You are probably out of luck.

Oddly enough, I recall reading in Precision Shooting magazine that the bullet federal uses in it's Fusion ammo is made by Speer (they are owned by the same parent company), so you could just buy their bullets and use them. - dan

Yup, I was just going to say that the OP may want to look at the Speer Deep-curl, which is a Fusion look-alike.

The Grand Slam is not the same as the Deep Curl or the Fusion.

Those Deep Curls are a week new, don't think anyone will have them anytime soon,
Thanks for the assist everyone
