not rubbing it in, just showing it off :D

arrived a couple of days ago on the courier so i chucked the stupidly large scope on top.. looks good in my books

Saiga "hunting carbine" chambered in .223/5.56 .. bit more accurate than the old 7.62vodka

i was going to suppress it :rolleyes: but decided that i'll leave it as is

i'll be expecting 1" - 1.5" groups at 100 with factory ammo.. but will post the range report

This guy keeps posting on CANADIANgunnutz about #### that is prohibited here. Why is he not posting on NewZeland gunnuts? Because over there nobody would care and he wouldnt get all the "OMG" and "i hate you!" replies. Troll...
 
I'm not envious. I never really liked the AK 47 mechanism, and as such, I prefer the VZ 58 and SKS machined receiver over the stamped receivers, and for silencers, I like my guns loud. That's why they are called boomsticks...

scope is mainly for hunting purposes, and i also want to see what its capable of when it comes to groups.
the scope probably wont stay on for long, or if it does i may upgrade it to something a bit more suitable ( and lighter )
 
OK fellas , if you cant appreciate prohibs then just move on .

we have members living in canada that owns AK , dragunov and FN and i and many members enjoy reading about them or seeing pics, even if i/we cant own them .

Oh, i can appreciate prohibs. Some of my favourite guns are prohibs. I have absolutely no problem with guys posting things about their 12.x stuff. But somebody coming here and asking us if he should put a silencer on his AK would be the same as me going to some British gun forums and asking them advice on which handgun to buy. Do you think they would appreciate it? Do you see my point?

Maybe. Thats why i would go and ask that question on British forums, because MAYBE someone has a valid informed opinion there. Asking it on some US gun board would never even cross my mind.

Maybe someone in Zimbabwe has a valid informed opinion on which private jet i should buy. I'll make sure that i ask there first, should i be in the market for one.
