is there any advantage to a 135 grain bullet to a 125 grain? just wondering because wolfs lead reloads are 135 gr.

If you reload you will get less recoil at the same power factor with the heavier bullets. Whether or not you will notice the difference is another thing.

thanks if thats all then ill stick with the cheaper 125 grain bullets.... recoil isnt much of an issue with a steel fram 9mm

As far as leading goes, a very wise man sold me a stainless barrel brush for my PPC gun (these suckers lead like you wouldn't believe) and presto! no issue. Check around to see if you can find one, they take lead out in three strokes with no worries about the barrel.

I tried the 125LRN and the 135 LRN and found the 135 grouped better. here is the best target i shot with my CZ. 20 yards, using two hands. 4.0gr of 231

do you find 231 to be really dirty?

I load 231 in 3 calibres, yup -it's dirty, also smokey and smelly. It's also amazingly consistant, and easy to meter.

so im thinking 135 grain DRG round nose lead with 3.6 grains of tight group to start
