So I was on ebay last week and just won a bid on a new aftermarket "hardwood SVT40 stock" Its made by a craftsman in poland for $115.

his ebay name is "forstergd5" he makes G41 and G43 stocks too

Looks very nice. I'll be interested to see pics of the assembled rifle.

On a stock SVT, the action moves in the stock even when everything is locked up tight. You can actually pull it fore and aft. I'd like to hear whether that is the case with this stock too.

Well I got it! and wow it looks great It will need fitting, I would say its 90% finished stock. Its made from birch and is very soild unlike the SVT40 stock.

It was handmade by the guy I bought it off of and it is new, but like I said will need hand fitting.

I just have to wait for a nice SVT40 to buy
