A Gallery Of Odd Outdoor Photos, Some Interesting Photos!!

This is the most peculiar thing I've seen.

These tree's are all snapped off about 12-14 feet up, others are all bent over, and this in a large circle just like this. Most tree's were all snapped off at the same height, but lots were bent over like this too. My first thought was avalanche but again this was a circle carved out like this. All the trees above this area up the mountain, below (where your looking) and to both sides were fine. These trees were slightly burnt, but only these trees, and the burn looked like it was very quick without actually igniting the tree. I still don't know what to think of it other then maybe a small meteor blew right above them?
 
Tornado, perhaps?? We had a twister come by near here a couple of years ago and saw a number of trees that were cut off as if someone had snapped a chalk line and used a chainsaw. Very interesting.
 
The site claims that this image is from NB but this is definitely Charlottetown PEI, the pic is most likely a Magdalen Islander returning from Mainland Quebec, via the PEI ferry to the Maggies.
