I have fired a lot of guns of a lot of different types: semi-automatics, revolvers, modern guns, very old (not quite antique) guns, all-steel guns, tupperware guns, black powder cap-and-ball replicas, even flintlocks, and I have loved shooting each and every one of them.

So my question is: What gun(s) have you shot that you really did not like? Why?

FEG PA63 in 9mm Makarov, why? because after every range session I'd have a bruise on my hand, damn thing hurt to shoot, I think I only ever got a couple boxes through it before I had enough

mossberg shotguns....feel like toys in my hands and when fired i thought it was going to fall appart from the shock of using it so hard. fired 50rnds in about 10min. fired a rem 870 to compare it with and i will prefer an 870. my all time favorite was the C6-GPMG .30cal when i was in the military. MAN that is a fun weapon! u can change the rate of fire from 750-1100RPM. had alot of fun with this one!!

Even though small, I didn't like the Walther PPK in .380 ACP.
Dug into my hand like a small chiwawa that hasn't been fed for days.

+1

I had a restricted (converted prohib) Walther PP in .380 ACP that I absolutely loved...until I shot the little bastard. It was a beautiful little pistol with excellent ergos, a real pleasure to fondle and admire. However, the slim grip, sharp tang and snappy cartridge all combined to make it a thoroughly painful gun to shoot. Needless to say, I sold it after one range session.

I've never met a gun I didn't like:D, but one I had to pass on was the Ruger P-85 mkII. Frickin' trigger pull about 3 inches long!

Anything ported, braked or compensated. I can feel the shock wave hitting my face and blowing my hair around and it bothers me to no end. If I can't take the recoil I won't shoot it.

Walther P-38. I couldn't hit a damn thing with it and in a moment of inattention the slide tore a strip of flesh off the upper knuckle of my thumb. I emptied it and handed it back to my friend then bandaged my hand. Didn't pick up another 9mm until I bought a Sig P226 twenty five years later. It's my favourite auto.

I shot a Smith 640 in 357 mag, using Federal .357 mag 125 jhp's. That is not something I would volunteer to do again, the gun comes back hard and almost instaneously into the pocket of your hand, leaving a purple and black bruise and stiffness in the base of your thumb that lasts about 4 days. The cylinder gap flash is enormous and will fry the hair on the back of your support hand fingers, the muzzle blast borders on silly and the muzzle flash is about 12 inches long, there goes your 'night vision'. Incidently, if you're not a firm believer in the 'Church of the Weaver' don't bother, even locked in hard it'll come up violently. God knows what it does to the target, but given the damage it causes to the shooter I'd say it's one of the deadliest pistol/ammo combinations anywhere. Somewhere deep inside there's a voice saying I need to do that again, wierd huh.

COP 4-Shot Deringer in 357 Magnum. Dammit, almost tore my thumb off with Factory Magnum loads! The grip area is like 2 fingers AT BEST!!!!

Cool little gun...But I won't shoot one again. :)

some autos are on my "black" list (never again), but I can put Walther P38 and Walther PP in 380 (with restr aftmarket bbl) on the top followed on short leash by Steyr M9 and Glock 22....

Firearms are basically a functioning form of art. If I cannot participate in that function to some decent degree, Im less interested. Hence, I'm not a big fan of automatics.

Remington 710....just plain annoying to shoot, a lot of felt recoil, cheap crappy construction, I should of just gone straight to the 700

The least favourite gun I've ever shot was a Ruger .44mag blackhawk 10" I used to own and loved to shoot my .44 but that gun I did not enjoy it at all!
