Best factory detachable mag?

Sako 75/85 by far. Feeds every size cartridge, with 5 different size magazines designed for each cartridge family. Alot of DM's try to make wsm or win mags feed in same magazine as a .30-06 or .308..

Sako 75 and 85 by far......I've owned them both and they are one of the best in construction and feeding....the factory Rem 700 is pretty darn good also...I have a stainless 700 DM in 25-06 and it's almost as good as a Sako in feeding and construction but I prefer the hidden latch of the Sako to the exposed 700 latches..but they latch in tightly and feed very well.

All are "all steel"..no plastic junk.....I have a Sako M995 and it's magazine has a plastic bottom......

303, never malfunction and hold 10 rounds......what more could you ask for.

But realistically the Sako is pretty good, and for levers Browning did a good job.

I grew up with 700BDL DM's though so that's my vote.

I think browning has a love or hate type appeal. I never minded them, but i do know that the new x-bolt design has taken a line of rifles with nice lines and uglied them up with an abortion of a mag.

The Remington Quik clip conversion has been totally reliable since my grandfather put it in the 1980's, when I inherited it my uncle took the 7 shot mag for his gun:kickInTheNuts: they still make the 7/10 magazines but can't get them up here:confused: But if were going to talk about the best built magazine it would have to be the fully machined hand built clips for Remingtons old 22rf Target rifle model 37 Range Master, they are unbelievable!! If you have an extra 5 shot or single PM me I will buy them, regards Dale in T-Bay:D next in line are sako mags:agree:
